What are some good original Halloween costumes for a group of 3 girls?
Q. Me and a few friends are planning on dressing up as a group for halloween, but we only have a few ideas. We were thinking of going as Abercrombie models, Football Players, or mannequins... but we don't really like those ideas alot! Any ideas would be great, but please don't suggest cliche costumes like the spice girls, crayons,sports teams ...etc. Thanks a bunch We're teens by the way!

A. My friend wanted to be something funny so she bought a pink feather boa, pink eyelashes, pink hair spray (washable) and wore jeans, a pink shirt, and pink sunglasses. People ask her what she was and she'd tickle them with the boa and say "tickled pink!" I loved it.

How to stop costumes smelling like coffee after dying them with coffee?
Q. I've recently dyed some costumes using coffee to make them look old and tatty. (For a production of oliver) its worked brilliantly but the costumes now stink! I love the smell of coffee normally but now its really over-powering. I don't want to wash them coz that will wash out the "dirty" look that I've tried to accomplish. I've also tried spraying them with fabreeze but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

How can I get both extra costumes in Tekken 5 for Asuka?
Q. I'm playing as Asuka in normal Tekken 5 and I bought her geisha costume. I also wanted to buy her school uniform but whenever I go to the customization menu and select "costumes" it says that I have already purchased it. I've tried it with all the different buttons (different extra costumes are available for each regular outfit) but it never seems to work. Can you just not have 2 extra costumes for one character?

A. When you purchase Asuka's extra costume you get two extra costumes so you already have it press triangle for her school costume and I think Circle for her geisha costume. I think that's what you have to do I haven't played in a while.

No point renting them , as you said your not merely going to a "one off" and you never know when youll need them again, paticulary since you said clothing from the Victorian era; believe it or not you can buy suits and formal clothes from charity shops in up market places for cheap prices, i brought a top quality tailor made suit jacket for PS20! Although that does take a bit of luck, buying clothes online can be good and cost effective provided you know what your getting otherwise its tricky sending it back on the grounds that its too tight or too loose etc. But anyway good luck :)

A. Well, if you don't want to buy online, there's always the Spirit store, which opens during the Halloween season. They have a cute selection of dog costumes, and you could find something for youself, too! How can I go about getting the policy on Halloween costumes changed in my neice's school district?
Q. The children are not allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school, and I think it's ridiculous. I always wore costumes to school, and it was great fun. I understand not allowing certain things (like masks) for safety reasons, but I think they should allow plain old innocent dressing up. Who can I speak to about changing this policy? I've tried the principal for her school, but she wasn't budging. She will have a new principal this coming year, but who knows if she can or even will do anything. Do I contact the superintendent?

You must understand that there will be children that cannot afford costumes and will not be able to wear them. Would you want them to be humiliated? Also, candy is no longer allowed in schools, and the two usually go hand in hand! School policies are not formed by the teachers nor the superintendent. They are formed by the School Board who are elected by the residents of the school district. What to charge for making dance costumes?
Q. How much should my wife charge the dance studio for sewing 11 costumes. The costumes are full vests with fringe around the bottoms and trimmed out the sides. Also 11 pair of flair-legged denim jeans. And 20 2" sequin strawberries. She already has about 30 hours into it before making the jeans. The dance studio paid for the material. The owner asked my wife how much she owes her, but my wife has no idea what to charge. Should she charge by the hour or by the costume or what?

A. There's alot of work in those costumes! Since the dance studio paid for the material, I would either charge an hourly fee that your wife thinks her time is worth - or charge around $200 per costume...whichever is more profitable for her.

A. No, I think it's fine. It's not as bad as other costumes. Just make sure she does wear the tights though, otherwise it would be too short. Also, for shoes, it would be 100 times better to wear red ballet flats. That would be cute. Or, just any red or white flat shoe. Have a happy Halloween!!
