How to change simple clothes into wearable fashionable clothing?
Q. My parents never take me shopping and I always get hand-me-downs and I'm almost 17 so I want to wear things fashionable so all I have is like 1 cardigan, mostly plain T-shirts and jeans, someone gave me some nice Anne Klein clothes but I can't wear them because they're too old and business-like for me (I can wear the dress pants, they're okay). A. if your looking for good clothes at good prices definatley go to target. i know its not exactly a store you would go and buy work clothes but they have really nice clothes. they have everything your looking for. you can shop online or go to your nearest target. target has casual and buisness clothes. its your best bet for great clothes. and they have a lot of designer clothes too like issac mizrahi.

A. There is Downtown Disney which has a few clothing sites one of our favorite is the Quicksilver store here is the link for you so you can take a look. They only thing is Disney has not updated that site and Department 56, Disney Vault 28 are no longer there and Club libby lu is closing. A. It depends on size (height and weight) of the child... It usually is a 3T but if it is a little bit bigger it might wear a 4T and really small would maybe wear a 2T but most are right on so i would go with 3T.

Q. How much of each kind of clothing do we need? Other details: It gets cold and can snow and ice up bad in the winters here. The summers can get really hot and sticky. A. Well, I would suggest that to calculate this amount, then "she" needs to treat her clothes with better respect. Clothes are expensive! Make them last, smart one. Anyways, I would assume about 7 shirts (Sweaters and tshirts), 5 pants (jeans and stretches), 1 pair of sweats, 2 shoes (exercise runners, regular shoes), 7 undies, 3 bras, 7 socks, 1 jacket, 1 rain jacket, 2 hoodies, and anything else you can think of. You don't need a lot if you're smart and treat the clothes well. Just do laundry on Saturdays, and use clothing preserving detergents. Also, avoid throwing them in the dryer...that wears them down fast

Q. How do I remove everyday stains from clothing? Like when you sit down on a dirty curb and black soot goes on the back of your favourite white shirt, or when you're playing sports and sweating and dirt or oil from your skin get onto your clothes? I regular washing still leaves a faint grey or yellow residue on my clothes! My mom recommends soaking putting water and soap powder in a bucket and soaking the shirt, but it's sometimes ineffective. Does adding washing liquid or baking soda to the water help? Im looking for a simple method, as I've no time to scrub every single one of my clothes clean everyday or anything like that.

For those who work in women's clothing stores: What store and what size mannequins do they use?
Q. I've always been curious about whether different stores use different clothing size mannequins to display clothes. I am wondering if it is true. So if you work in a clothing store, could you tell me what the name of the store is and also what size (US clothing size) display mannequins the store uses. For example, I would expect that Lane Bryant would use larger mannequins than Abercrombie, but it would be interesting to see if that's true. Thanks.

A. I worked in a national department store. In the misses (adult ladies) dept, we would put size small/size 6 on the mannequins. Often we had to pin the clothes to keep them on. Lingerie models wore a 36B/C and a small panty. Petites sometimes were adult mannequins (with flat feet, or sometimes no feet at all) and sometimes juniors mannequins, depending on the season and the clothes being displayed. There were no mannequins in the plus size department. In Juniors, the mannequins wore the smallest size available (usually a 3), and we *always* had to pin the clothes to make them smaller. In mens, the mannequin usually wore a 34/36 pant, and a medium shirt. Children's had about six different size models, and I don't remember their sizes.

A. Well many way s to keep your clothes looking brand new, But it gives a little extra work, but worth it. You can wash your clothes on a lower temp- The less artificial heat the better. Turning your clothes inside out also help s to keep their colour from fading on your clothes.Hanging your white clothing outside in the sun will keep them whiter than white , no need for bleach , the sun will do this the natural way. What is the best clothing to wear if you work outside in a very cold climate?
Q. My husband is an iron worker who works all over the country and just started working in an area that is already bone chilling. He has thermals and his Carter gear, but he is still cold. A. Woolite is good for hand washing but use very very little as it is super concentrated. Squeeze clothes gently to remove excess water then place a towel or towels flat lay washed item in the towel flat. Roll the item tightly up in the towel this will take out the excess water. Keep rolling in dry towels until as much water as possible is removed then hang or lay flat to dry depending on fabric. You can use a blow dryer on warm of cool setting (depending fabric) to dry faster. Make sure to request extra towels for your room before doing you laundry.
