Q. I'd like to make some banners, but don't know where to start. What free non virus software should I download? Also, please point me towards some really beginner tutorials, thanks! banners for websites and I already have paint.net, but I heard you can't save it on there. I think you need gmp or something.

A. There really is no software available other than Flash itself. I've seen websites that advertise free online Flash banner tools but I couldn't tell you if any of them are safe or actually work (seeing as how I do all of my Flash work in Flash).

A. I like the banner you have. There are many screen video creators that take a video of the screen. Try searching for one on google. You could always grab a camera and put it in front of the screen. :P

A. don't search for freeware. when searching for free software use open source like "open source banner making" open source software is free but its source code is available and there is no trials or adds. its just people writing good code that works so every one can benefit. try gimp.org

A. Simply create as many full page graphics as necessary to produce the width of banner that you want - print 'em out and stick them together. Be careful that all elements between pages line up and are spaced so that it looks good. There are a number of graphics programs that allow you to create panorama views that make it easier to line things up but they really aren't necessary.

A. You need an art program, i'd recommend Adobe CS2/CS3 but if you want something cheaper try GIMP or Alias Sketchbook. You could also try Jask PSP (7, 8 or 9 being the most recent) or for something really simple paint.net
